It was an ideal spot to purchase some food before embarking on a train journey. The portion was generous, and the filling was dense and satisfying.

It was my first visit to Buxton. We got to the train station at almost 9pm and we were hungry. Essie Grill came to our rescue . Aside this, the personnel was very friendly and directed us to our hotel. He recognized us the following day when we came back after our program at the college. I'm sure visiting Buxton again and the welcoming attitude of Essie grills speaks to the friendly nature of people at Buxton.

Beautiful food, was so pleased with it we got the beef tacos and they were just delicious, the cheesy chips with gravy were also amazing! We would love if you did the normal burritos we would definitely order those!!Thank you for the great food

Absolutely one of the best takeaway places in Buxton! The service is quick, the menu has some brilliant choices that you just don't get around here. The service is friendly, prices are extremely reasonable and you get a good amount of food for what you pay for. An extremely honest and genuine guy making fantastic street food. Get yourselve's there you won't regret it! I'd give it 10 stars if i could, truly.

The best chicken tacos I’ve ever had. Had them a few times now and it’s always so lovely. Big portions and tasty sauces to go with it. The owner is always a joy to talk to. Definitely recommend!!

I’ve been meaning to try Essie Grill for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did! I had the chicken tacos and absolutely loved them, full of flavour and really well made. You can tell care goes into the food. The owner is a genuinely lovely man, and I’ll definitely be supporting him in the future. Can’t wait to go back again!

While visiting my mum who lives in Buxton, I decided to try Essie Grill as I had read how good it was, and it didn't disappoint. The young man who runs Essie Grill is such a lovely, genuine guy, who can make delicious food. I ordered a few things off the menu and it was so fresh and tasty. The chicken tacos and chips with gravy and cheese we're amazing and definitely worth trying. Top marks all round.
